Musical Talent and Access Those coming to the Abbey will be entertained by talented youth performers supported by the charitable trust Future Talent, co-founded by the late Duchess of Kent to broaden opportunities for musical tuition. Carys Wood, aged 18, who performs on the trumpet and is from Pembrokeshire, has been assisted by the organisation, with awards contributing to equipment, teaching, and travel fees - and she said it was "incredible" to be playing at the concert. "Pursuing music is often costly," she stated. She is now enrolled at the renowned conservatoire, and added that "everyone should have the opportunity" to hone their artistic talents. A Family Affair Eliza, Carys's sister who is 11, who is a euphonium player, will be present at the Abbey. "I never imagined I would perform in front of so many important people," she said. Attending the service will be representatives of different generations. That will feature Saphia Turner, aged nine, recipient of a prize for youthful altruism, who sells artwork and carries out sponsored challenges to collect donations for local food charities.
